有网友说，几天前去多伦多中国服务中心办理去中国签证，发现服务费又涨价了，比起两年前多花了10元加币。他抱怨对这类垄断服务行业中国政府是不是该有个限制，签证服务中心开业时收费30元，两年多加价33%，如果按这个速度增长真让人吃不消。
据悉，多伦多中国签证服务中心的网站上已经发出《调整普通服务费通知》，通知说：为确保签证申请中心可持续发展，不断提升服务质量，从2014年7月2日起，签证申请服务费标准做如下调整：普通申请$40/件(含税$45.20)，加急件、特急件和邮寄申请收费标准不变，详情请见《收费价格表》。
另外，和以前相比，办理中国签证要注意几个新规定。比如过去手写的申请表如今已经不适用了，从2014年1月1日起，中国总领事馆原则上只接受机打签证申请表，申请人要持护照和机打签证申请表前往多伦多中国签证申请服务中心办理赴华签证。
