日前微信传出中国签证费二月起从过去的140元上涨到540元，结果引起洛杉矶总领馆人满为患的签证人潮。为此，总领馆签证负责人27日澄清，签证费暴涨3倍的传闻纯属是子虚乌有。 签证负责人表示，中国的签证费一向采取和美国使馆对等的原则，绝不会在美方没有调价的情况下单方面涨价。目前中国公民申请美国签证的费用为1080元人民币，相当于160美元；而美国公民申请中国签证的费用为140美元，比美国使馆的费用略低20美元。总领馆已向美方求证，证明美国使馆近期也没有签证费上调的打算。 总领馆建议美籍华人在确定回国行程后再去总领馆申请签证，仍在有效期内的护照则不必急于申请签证，否则会浪费10年有效期。 刚刚拿到10年签证回中国奔丧的洛杉矶华裔居民沈先生表示，他的签证费也是140美元，并没有听说涨价的消息。但在他回美途中，也从微信上看到了签证费涨价的消息，但微信后来又辟谣说此消息是空穴来风。
